Abi’s Artisan Ice Cream in Coeur d’Alene is celebrating its second anniversary on Saturday with half-price everything, starting at 2 p.m.

The fun includes balloons for kids as well as new desserts and new ice cream flavors to try. The celebration runs from 2 to 5 p.m.

Abi’s opened April 1, 2016, and is named for the proprietor’s daughter, Abigail, or Abi for short. Abi’s allergic to nuts. So the ice cream shop is a nut-free facility.

Owner Maren Scoggins doesn’t use artificial flavors or preservatives, either. Ice cream is made in-house daily in Abi’s open kitchen. Customers can watch ice cream being made right in front of them.

Abi’s is at 112 N. Fourth St. in Coeur d’Alene. Call (208) 930-0699.
