Prep softball playoffs: Almira/Coulee-Hartline wins 1B District 5/6/7 tournament

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 8, Inchelium 1: Sarah Bradshaw tallied 10 strikeouts and scattered a pair of hits in a complete game effort and the Warriors (19-2-1) defeated the Hornets (13-6) in the 1B District 5/6/7 tournament championship game at Kettle Falls on Saturday.

Makenna Oliver launched a three-run shot for the Warriors in an eight-run fifth inning.

ACH topped Northport 14-1 to reach the district title game. Oliver homered twice and drove in four. The Warriors put up nine in the second inning.

Inchelium knocked off Sunnyside Christian in a semifinal to reach the district championship.

The 1B softball regional tournament in Friday and Saturday at Medical Lake HS.
