Prep baseball playoffs: Chewelah, Colville ousted in 1A crossovers

Cashmere 12, Chewelah 4: Kross Knoll went 3 for 5 with an RBI and two runs and the visiting Caribou Trail League third-seeded Bulldogs (19-4) eliminated the Northeast A League second-seeded Cougars (17-6) in a 1A CTL/NEA Crossover.

Lukas Kubik went 4 for 4 with an RBI and a double for Chewelah.

Okanogan 6, Colville 2: Justin Stanley allowed one hit over 6 1/3 innings and the CTL second-seeded Bulldogs (16-5) eliminated the visiting NEA third-seeded Indians (10-13) in a 1A CTL/NEA Crossover.

Colville’s Tayeb Wilson gave up two earned runs on five hits with five strikeouts over five innings.
