Boys soccer playoffs: Lewis and Clark edged by Pasco in state 4A

Pasco 2, Lewis and Clark 1: Edwin Aquino scored in the 69th minute to give Pasco a two-goal cushion and the Bulldogs held off the Tigers in a state 4A quarterfinal at Edgar Brown Stadium in Pasco.

After a scoreless first half, Pasco’s Jorge Magana Carillo took a pass and shot one-touch to the back post in the 48th minute for a 1-0 lead.

LC’s Brooks Schaaf tallied in the 74th minute to give the Tigers life but the comeback came up short.

Pasco advances to a semifinal against Eastmont on Friday.
