Prep softball: Inchelium wins 1B district championship; ACH, Pomeroy, Colton also headed to state

Four teams qualified for state out of the District 5-6-7-9 1B tournament, with Inchelium defeating Almira/Coulee-Hartline 6-3 in the championship game at Medical Lake on Monday.

Pomeroy and Colton will join those two teams at state.

In the championship game, Jaylene Lelone hit a two-run home run for Inchelium and the pitching duo of Rylee Desautel and Meika Heath combined to strike out 10 batters. Sara Bradshaw hit two home runs for ACH.
