A 56-year-old Spokane man is accused of sending sexually explicit text messages to underage teenage girls and is under investigation for a host of other felonies, including offering narcotics to the teens in exchange for sexual favors.

Charles Ernest Green Jr. has been charged with communication with minors for immoral purposes after multiple girls – friends of his two teenage daughters – reported to police he’d sent them unwanted messages over a six-month period.

“I get you hi (sic) if u should come over with those grey tights you wear and tease me,” Green allegedly texted a 14-year-old, according to police report excerpts.

The man also is accused of contacting the girls through social media accounts. When his cellphone number would get blocked, girls reported to police, they said he would text them with a different number.

“I’m a single parent raising two daughters running my own business just trying live (sic) the American dream,” Green wrote on his Facebook profile, which says he runs a construction business.

Police interviewed seven teenagers in their investigation, including both of the man’s daughters, who have since been removed from their father’s home. Green reportedly had parties in the garage of his home, on the 5000 block of North Loma Drive, with the teens, where he allegedly would drink and do methamphetamine and other drugs.

One teen reportedly gave police photos of Green appearing to drink and do drugs with the teens. One of his daughters reportedly showed police a video of Green smoking what appears to be meth with a group of teenage girls.

One of Green’s daughters told police she believes he used surveillance cameras to watch her undress, and once saw him watching a sexually explicit video of one of her underage friends, according to court documents. Another daughter, who said her father had provided drugs to her friends for years, said he had photos on his computer of an 11-year-old in a bathing suit with close-ups of her “underwear area.”

Some of the girls in the police report said they believed Green had sex with another teen. According to the police report, Green’s 17-year-old daughter said he talked about having sex with a 14-year-old and saying his daughters’ friends “could come to our house, get roofied” and that he would have sex with them.

One of Green’s daughters told police he had a cabinet in his garage filled with drugs, including meth, cocaine and marijuana. Police obtained a search warrant on May 23 and recovered bags of marijuana and oil, a bag with white crystals, a glass pipe with residue and a box full of DVDs, all in the garage cabinet.

Police also seized multiple laptops, cellphones, SD cards, thumb drives and security camera videos.

Green was arrested on suspicion of sending the text messages and is under investigation for commercial sexual abuse of a minor and distribution to persons under 18 with sexual motivation. He also was recently charged with strangulation and second-degree assault, according to court records.
