Top of India owner plans apartment development nearby

Top of India restaurant owner Manjit Kaur has filed plans with the city of Spokane Valley to build a small apartment complex directly south of the establishment.

Kaur filed plans last week that call for a proposed three-story, 12-unit apartment building at 11114 E. Sprague Ave. and include an improved parking lot and additional landscaping.

The Sprague Avenue Apartments project will span more than 10,000 square feet and feature six one-bedroom units and six studios, according to site plans filed with the city.

The project architect is Spokane-based Haines Architectural Services.
