GSL roundup: Jacinta Buckley leads Lewis and Clark to season opening win

Jacinta Buckley poured in 27 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and added nine steals, three assists and two blocked shots to propel Lewis and Clark to a 67-35 victory over visiting Post Falls in nonleague play Wednesday night.

Dominique Arquette added 15 points for the Tigers (1-0), while Kaylee Bishop scored nine points on three 3-pointers.

Post Falls (1-3) was led by Dylan Lovett with 11 points.

Kellogg 66, Shadle Park 48: Hailey Cheney tossed in 19 points and Sammy Seymour added 17 to power the Wildcats (4-1) to a 66-48 victory over the visiting Highlanders (0-1) in nonleague play.

Izzy Boring had 14 points and Madeline Baldwin added 13 for Shadle.

Boys

Shadle Park 87, Kellogg 52: DaMarius Brown logged a triple double with 20 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists and the visiting Highlanders defeated Wildcats in a season opener.

Jake Groves scored 23 points with 15 rebounds for Shadle.
