Boys basketball: Jacob Wells lifts Pullman over Grandview

Pullman 62, Grandview 20: Jacob Wells scored 15 points and the Greyhounds (2-0) topped visiting Grandview (0-1) in a nonleague game on Thursday. Isaiah Strong added 12 points for Pullman, which led 25-1 after the first quarter.

Deer Park 65, Chewelah 34: Dawson Youngblood and Isaac Burglund scored 18 points apiece and the visiting Stags (2-0) defeated the Cougars (0-1). Jaron Baldwin led Chewelah with 13 points, including four three-pointers.

Valley Christian 64, Northport 38: Dawson Blew scored 25 points and the Panthers (1-0) beat the visiting Mustangs (0-1)

Columbia 63, Wilson Creek 34: Solomon Christen scored 7 of his 11 points in a 22-point first quarter and the Lions (1-0) defeated the visiting Devils (0-1).
