Thank you to Honor Flight

On Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 23-24, I had the opportunity to go to Washington, DC, to see the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and many other memorials. I doubt I would ever have had this opportunity were it not for Honor Flight.

There were 103 veterans on the flight, 89 of us are Vietnam vets. My deepest thank you to the Honor Flight organization. There is no way to say how awesome those memorials are. You have to be there. As great as that was, the welcome that awaited us at the Spokane airport was equally awe-inspiring. The people who waited out there for us and gave us such a welcome deserve a very hearty welcome.

Inland Northwest Honor Flight has at least another 300 Vietnam vets waiting for their chance. But, Honor Flight needs help. Please donate to Honor Flight so that all the vets who want to see the memorials will be able to feel the same awe that the 103 of us did this past week. Thank you.
