Prep slowpitch softball roundup: Madelyn Dibble’s seventh inning go-ahead homer lifts Lewis and Clark over Central Valley
Madelyn Dibble hit a go-ahead two-run home run in the top of the seventh inning and the visiting Tigers (9-7) defeated the Bears (10-6) 2-0 on Tuesday in a Greater Spokane League game.
University 7, Mead 4: Makayla Marshall doubled in three runs and the visiting Titans (17-0) outlasted the Panthers (12-5). Alyssa Benthagen added three hits for University. Destiny Scott singled and tripled for two RBIs to lead Mead.
Rogers 25, North Central 5: Aly Slawter had two home runs and the visiting Pirates (9-7) defeated the Indians (1-13).
East Valley 10, Gonzaga Prep 2: Addie Meyer slugged a home run and tallied three RBIs and the visiting Knights (6-9) defeated the Bullpups (5-11).
Mt. Spokane 15, Shadle Park 5: Katie McKinnis notched four hits and pitched a complete game and the visiting Wildcats (12-4) defeated the Highlanders (1-15).
