Prep slowpitch roundup: University remains unbeaten with sweep of North Central

University 26, North Central 2: Makayla Marshall homered and drove in six runs and the visiting Titans (18-0) cruised past the Indians (1-16) in the first game of a doubleheader. Jenna Williamson and Lily Allen added four hits apiece for U-Hi.

University 14, North Central 4: Brooklyn Hecker homered and Alyssa Benthagen doubled twice, scored three runs and drove in a pair and the Titans (19-0) swept the Indians (1-17).

Mt. Spokane 6, Central Valley 3: Alli Schuerman had two hits with two runs scored and the visiting Wildcats (13-4) scored all their runs in the last two innings to beat the Bears (10-7) in the first game of the double-header.

Mt. Spokane 6, Central Valley 3: Katie McKinnis scored three runs and the Wildcats (14-4) put up four in the first to sweep the Bears (10-8).

Lewis and Clark 10, Ferris 0: Carolyn Johnson homered twice to drive in four runs and the Tigers (10-7) blanked the visiting Saxons (7-10) in the first of a doubleheader at Hart Field. Madelyn Dibble homered, scored twice and drove in two runs for the Tigers.

Lewis and Clark 10, Ferris 5: Deshiyah Crawford homered and singled twice with two RBIs and the visiting Tigers (11-7) swept the Saxons (7-11). Sarah Moline and Yasmine Burrill notched three hits apiece for the Tigers.

Mead 20, East Valley 2: Tori Veter had two triples among four hits with five RBIs and the Panthers (13-5) routed the visiting Knights (7-10) in the first game of a doubleheader. Peyton Cusher added four hits for Mead.

Mead 11, East Valley 8: Destiny Scott had two hits with three RBIs and the Panthers (14-5) swept the Knights (7-11). Emma Todhunter had a homer and two doubles for East Valley.

Rogers 14, Shadle Park 0: Jaelyn Snyder homered, Gabrielle Rickman added three hits and the Pirates (10-7) blanked the visiting Highlanders (1-16).

Rogers 13, Shadle Park 2: Destiney Sandbergen hit a three-run home run and the Pirates (11-7) swept the Highlanders (1-17).
