Prep morning roundup: Mt. Spokane football rolls over Rogers in GSL 3A matchup

Mt. Spokane 33, Rogers 16: Devon Lusk scored on a rushing and receiving touchdown and the sixth-ranked Wildcats (6-1, 1-0) defeated the Pirates (0-7, 0-1) in a GSL 3A game at Albi Stadium.

Clarkston 28, Cheney 21: Kaeden Frazier went 19 of 30 for 209 yards with two touchdowns and the Bantams (3-4, 1-2) upset the visiting Blackhawks (6-1, 1-1) in Great Northern League action. Tru Allen caught five passes for 97 yards with a touchdown and Steve Baiye hauled in seven catches for 68 yards and a score.

Volleyball

University def. Lewis and Clark (20-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-14): Lauren Fleury had 19 kills and the visiting Titans (5-2) beat the Tigers (5-2) in Greater Spokane League action.

Gonzaga Prep def. Mead (19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23): Sophia Bertotti-Metoyer had 10 kills and the visiting Bullpups (5-2) defeated the Panthers (5-2) in four sets on Friday.

Girls soccer

North Central 1, Mead 0: Izzy Garcia scored the go-ahead goal in the 47th minute and the Indians (3-4-1-1) defeated the visiting Panthers (5-2-1-0).

Gonzaga Prep 2, University 1: Chelsea Le scored the go-ahead goal in the 46th minute and the visiting Bullpups (6-1-0-0) defeated the Titans (4-3-1-1).
