College volleyball: Cal edges No. 21 Washington State in four sets
Bailee Huizenga led a balanced Cal attack with 12 kills, and the Golden Bears knocked off No. 21 Washington State 32-30, 15-25, 25-23, 25-20 on Sunday in Berkeley, California.
Four Cal (10-9, 2-6 Pac-12) attackers finished with double-digit kills. Lauren Forte notched 10 kills and recorded a match-best 11 blocks.
McKenna Woodward led the Cougars (13-5, 4-4) with 22 kills, tying a career high. Penny Tusa added a career-best 14 kills for WSU.
Ashley Brown had a match-high 45 assists and Alexis Dirige picked up 24 digs for the Cougars, who dropped their second straight match, having lost to Stanford on Friday.
