DENVER – Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp was carted off the field with a left knee injury after being taken down on a horse-collar tackle by Denver Broncos safety Darian Stewart on Sunday.

Kupp picked up 12 yards along the Broncos’ sideline when he was brought down by Stewart, who was given a 15-yard penalty. Kupp stayed down as trainers examined him. His quarterback, Jared Goff, came over to check on him before he was loaded onto a cart.

He returned to the game in the second half but was held without a reception.

Kupp, the former Eastern Washington standout, missed the second half last week against Seattle after being diagnosed with a concussion.
