Pac-12 sets kickoff time, TV network for Washington State-Stanford

The Pac-12 has announced kickoff times for the slate of games on Oct. 27, including Washington State’s North division showdown at Stanford. The Cougars and Cardinal will start at 4 p.m. at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto, marking a second consecutive late afternoon kickoff for WSU, which plays Oregon at 4:30 p.m. this Saturday in Pullman. WSU’s game at Stanford, the third Pac-12 matchup of the day, will air on the Pac-12 Networks. The Cougars are 5-1 overall and 2-1 in Pac-12 play coming out of the bye week. Stanford opened the year 4-0 and climbed as high as No. 7 in the Associated Press Top 25, but the Cardinal have been reeling the last two weeks with consecutive losses to Notre Dame and Utah. Stanford has a 40-27 edge in the all-time series between the schools, but the Cougars have won the last two games – 24-21 last season in Pullman and 42-16 two years ago in Palo Alto. Times for four other games the day of the 27th have been set. Oregon State at Colorado will start at noon on the Pac-12 Networks, Arizona State at USC will kick off at 12:30 p.m. on ABC or ESPN, UW at Cal will start at 3:30 p.m. on FS1 and Oregon at Arizona will begin at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN. On Friday, Utah’s game at UCLA is slated to kick off at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
