Prep girls soccer roundup: Central Valley clinches Greater Spokane League with victory over Gonzaga Prep

Central Valley 2, Gonzaga Prep 1: Marissa Bankey and Maggie Ames scored and the Bears (12-0-1, 8-0-0-0) edged the visiting Bulldogs (9-5-1, 6-2-0-0) to secure the Greater Spokane League championship on Wednesday.

Mead 3, Ferris 0: Seniors Zoey Thompson and Erica Nessan scored one goal apiece and the Panthers (11-4-0, 6-2-1-0) beat the visiting Saxons (7-7-0, 4-4-1-0).

Mt. Spokane 3, Lewis and Clark 0: Katelyn Asay had a hat trick and scored three goals and Wildcats (6-7-1, 4-4-0-0) beat the visiting Tigers (7-6-0, 3-5-0-1).

University 2, North Central 1: Payten Bastine scored the game winner from a free kick 40 yards out and the Titans (8-3-0, 5-3-1-1) beat the visiting Indians (5-7-0, 3-5-1-1).

Shadle Park 8, Rogers 1: Olivia Wicks scored a hat trick and the visiting Highlanders (2-9-1, 1-7-0-1) defeated the Pirates (1-11-0, 0-8-0-0).
