Today the Knitting Factory announced two 2019 shows on Monday – Young the Giant and Aaron Watson.

Young the Giant is bringing its “Mirror Master” tour to the Knit on March 8th. “Mirror Master,” the group’s latest album, meditates on the positive and negative effects associated with the illusion of social media.

“Something we want to get across with the album is the idea of taking authorship of your life,” said Young the Giant vocalist Sameer Gadhia in a news release. “Even though it may all be an illusion, there’s solace in that illusion. Because if you have control of anything at all, it’s your own reflection, how you treat people and how you walk through this life.”

Also coming to the Knit in March is Watson, an independent country star who will be performing hits from his recent albums “Vaquero” and “The Underdog,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. He’ll be in town on March 29.

Tickets for both shows go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketweb. Tickets for Young the Giant will be $29.50 in advance. Watson’s show will go for $22. For more information, visit www.sp.knittingfactory.com.
