Spokane Valley’s Jaimie Belknap became a finalist in Extreme Huntress, a national hunting competition, in June.

As a finalist she spent part of July and August filming in Texas. The 15-minute episodes are now being aired every Sunday on Facebook and at extremehuntress.com.

Belknap said she did well during the filmed skills tests in Texas. However, part of the competition is how many votes competitors receive. Votes count for 10 percent of the overall score.

Belknap is currently in third place of four.

“I need like 3,000 votes,” she said.
