Up North Distillery is at it again.

The award-winning Post Falls distillery has won a half-dozen more awards in a couple of recent spirits competitions.

Up North won two silver medals and a Judges’ Pick award in the 2018 Sip Northwest Spirits Competition as well as a silver medal and two bronze medals in the inaugural National Honey Board Spirits Competition.

The Sip Northwest Spirits Competition received 667 entries from wine, 282 beers, 145 from spirits and 145 from ciders, which were judged by 92 experts from the Pacific Northwest. Up North won the Judges’ Pick for its 3 Year Apple Brandy. Its Apple Brandy and Big Kid Cider both took silver.

In the National Honey Board’s first spirits competition, 90 made-with-honey spirits competed for recognition in seven spirits categories, including a category that contained products that used honey as the primary distillate. Up North won three medals in that category for its Honey Spirits, which is a distilled mead wine.

Honey Spirits won a bronze medal. So did the Barrel Finished Honey Spirits. The Barrel Reserve Honey Spirits won silver.
