Lake City High School in Coeur d’Alene goes put on lockdown after threatening phone call

Lake City High School in Coeur d’Alene was put on lockdown Tuesday after a 9 a.m. phone call in which the caller said someone was in the parking lot with a gun, according to a news release.

Police swept Lake City High School, 6101 N. Ramsey Road, but found no threat. Several surrounding schools also were put on lockdown.

The identity of the caller is unknown, and police are investigating.
