The Chiefs broke a scoreless tie 5:09 into the second period when Carter Chorney scored his third goal of the preseason.

Late in the period, Jeff Faith assisted on Jaret Anderson-Dolan’s backhander for a 2-1 Chiefs lead.

Watts scored midway through the third period to tie the score.

The Chiefs were 0 for 4 on power plays.

Spokane, which defeated Portland 7-1 in its preseason opener Friday, will remain in Everett and play the Seattle Thunderbirds on Sunday.
