Body of missing Colville tribal member located Friday in Soap Lake

The body of man missing since late last month was recovered Friday evening in Soap Lake.

The Grant County Sheriff’s Office said Michael Clark of the Colville Tribe was recovered from the water after a group of kayakers spotted him. An autopsy determined there were no obvious signs of trauma, though according to a sheriff’s office news release, a cause of death was inconclusive due to the condition of the remains.
