Prep volleyball roundup: Alexa Schmautz’s 13 kills leads Lakeside over Colville in Northeast 1A

Alexa Schmautz had 13 kills and the Eagles (1-0) defeated the Indians (0-1) 3-0 on Tuesday in a Northeast 1A league game.

Deer Park 3, Riverside 0: Paige Thompson had seven kills with six aces and the Stags (1-0) beat the visiting Rams (0-1). Deer Park had 18 aces as a team.

Freeman 3, Newport 0: Hali Putz had six aces and the Scotties (1-0) defeated the Grizzlies (0-1).


Gonzaga Prep 3, Post Falls 1: Katherine Steilen had 29 assists with three aces and the visiting Bullpups (2-0) beat the Trojans (4-2).

Shadle Park 3, Rogers 1: Megan Gallagher had five kills with three digs and the Highlanders (1-0) defeated the Pirates (0-1).

Ferris 3, Moses Lake 1: Carly Cox had 21 digs and the Saxons (1-0) defeated the Chiefs (0-2).

Lewis and Clark 3, Colfax 0: Amanda Reed had seven kills with six blocks and the Tigers (1-0) defeated the Bulldogs (0-1).

North Central 3, West Valley 1: Karissa Buringa recorded 12 kills with six aces and the Indians (1-0) defeated the Eagles (0-1).

Central Valley 3, East Valley 0: Sami Smith had four aces and the visiting Bears (1-0) swept the Knights (0-1).

Post Falls 3, Moscow 1: Courtney Finney had 25 assists and the Trojans (4-1) beat the visiting Bears (1-2).

Chewelah 3, Springdale 0: Haven Rainer had 11 digs with three aces and the Cougars (1-0) defeated the Chargers (0-1).

Oakesdale 3, Dayton 0: Logan Reed had 17 kills with four aces and the Nighthawks (1-0) defeated the Bulldogs (0-1). LouEllen Reed added 22 assists and eight digs for Oakesdale.

Northwest Christian 3, Liberty 0: Brady Mathews had 14 digs and the Crusaders (1-0) swept the Lancers (0-1).

Okanogan 3, Wilbur-Creston 0: Sydney Schmeirer had nine assists but the Wildcats (0-1) fell to the Bulldogs (1-0).

Timberlake 3, Lakeland 2: McKeeley Tonkin had 29 assists and the Tigers (1-0) beat the visiting Hawks (0-1).

Sandpoint 3, Coeur d’Alene 1: Elli Schraeder had four aces and three blocks, but the visiting Vikings (0-1) lost to the Bulldogs (1-0).

Clarkston 3, Orofino 0: Eva Millan had 14 digs with two aces and the Bantams (1-0) defeated the Maniacs (0-1).

Lakeside 3, North Idaho Christian 2: Alyssa SiJohn had 34 assists with three aces and the Knights (1-1) defeated the Royals (0-1).
