Men’s soccer: Community Colleges of Spokane shuts out Treasure Valley

Nicholas Frost scored late in the first half Saturday and Community Colleges of Spokane added two second-half goals to defeat Treasure Valley 3-0 in Northwest Athletic Association men’s soccer at Spokane Falls CC.

Brennan Murphy, in the 48th minute, and Diego Esquivel (75:15) also scored for the Sasquatch (3-3-0, 2-0-0).

CCS outshot the Chukars (0-5-1, 0-1-1) 13-1.

North Idaho 2, Blue Mountain 0: Zach Bowsky and Josh Greer scored second-half goals to lift the host Cardinals (1-4-1, 1-0-1 NWAC) past the Timberwolves (0-4-0, 0-2-0).

Isaiah Damschen recorded seven saves in the shutout.
