Women’s soccer: Ellory Ferris, Linnea Pretzer register hat tricks as North Idaho romps

Ellory Ferris and Linnea Pretzer recorded hat tricks Saturday to power host North Idaho to a 10-1 win over Blue Mountain (1-3-0, 0-2-0) in Northwest Athletic Conference women’s soccer.

Zoe Lee, recovering from a hamstring strain, added two late goals for the Cardinals (2-2-2, 2-0-0).

Pretzer’s goals came during a 10-minute span of the second half.

Whitworth 0, College of Idaho 0 (2OT): Isabelle Arends made two crucial saves in overtime and the Pirates (1-1-1) settled for a nonconference tie with the Coyotes (2-0-1) in Walla Walla.

Whitworth outshot College of Idaho 18-9, including 16-5 in regulation.
