Prep slowpitch softball roundup: Isabella Bay homered twice, North Central defeated Shadle Park

Isabella Bay homered twice and visiting North Central (1-1) downed Shadle Park (0-1) 20-6 on Tuesday in a Greater Spokane League game.

Mead 3, Central Valley 2: Sadie Bocook was 3 for 3 and the Panthers (1-0) defeated the visiting Bears (0-1). Jordan Williams hit a home run for Central Valley.

East Valley 6, Lewis and Clark 5: Stevie Schubach finished 3 for 3, with a two-run homer, and Rachel Throckmorton drove in the winning run with a single during a three-run seventh and the visiting Knights (1-0) rallied past the Tigers (0-1) at Hart Field.

University 13, Mt. Spokane 3: Ainsley Rell scattered three hits and drove in three runs and the visiting Titans (2-0) downed the Wildcats (1-1).

Gonzaga Prep 3, Ferris 1: Gwyneth Corrales gave up only six hits and the visiting Bullpups (1-1) topped the Saxons (0-2).
