Girls soccer roundup: Rachel Bennewise’s goal, Kendal Houston’s assists lead Mead over Lake City

Rachel Bennewise scored the go-ahead goal in the 27th minute and visiting Mead (4-2-0) defeated Lake City (4-2-0) 2-1 on Wednesday in a nonleague match. Kendal Houston had two assists for Mead.

Central Valley 1, Sandpoint 1: Alyssa Molina and Piper Frank each had a goal for the visiting Bears (3-0-1) and Bulldogs (6-1-1) respectively and the two teams ended in a tie.
