Prep football roundup: Michael Workman grabs two touchdowns on 101 yards, Mead beats Ferris

Michael Workman caught six passes for 101 yards with two scores and Mead downed Ferris 21-13 at Joe Albi on Friday in a Greater Spokane League game.

Ryan Blair threw for 203 yards and two touchdowns for the Panthers.

Newport 34, Deer Park 0: Tiegen Prange threw for 178 yards with two touchdowns and the Grizzlies (1-0) defeated the visiting Stags (0-1).

Riverside 34, Freeman 14: Michael Zanoni and Sammy DesRoches combined for 25 carries, 225 yards and four touchdowns and the Rams (2-1) defeated the visiting Scotties (0-3).

Lakeside (WA) 21, Medical Lake 7: Kasen Hunskaer had 14 carries for 114 rushing yards and two touchdowns and the Eagles (1-0) defeated the visiting Cardinals (0-1).

Northeast 2B

Wilbur-Creston 38, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 36: Aaron McDowell ran for three scores on 175 total yards and the visiting Wildcats (1-0) overcame the Broncos (0-1).

Colfax 54, Davenport 26: Cameron Hiatt ran for 127 yards with two touchdowns on the ground and another through the air and the Bulldogs defeated the Gorillas.

Alex Plasensia ran for 234 yards with a touchdown for Davenport.

Reardan 54, Kettle Falls 0: Zane Perleberg threw for 96 yards with three touchdowns and the visiting Indians defeated the Bulldogs.

Tekoa-Rosalia 50, Republic 8: Riley McLain notched three scores on 325 scrimmage yards and the Timberwolves (2-0) rolled past the visiting Tigers (0-1).

Odessa 83, Werville-Mansfield 0: Marcus king scored four touchdowns and the visiting Tigers (1-0) shutout the Shockers (0-2).

North Central 17, East Valley 7: Kade Garvey ran for 174 yards with two touchdowns and the visiting Indians beat the Knights.

Pullman 48, Moscow 7: Konner Kinkade threw for 364 yards with four touchdowns and the Greyhounds beat the visiting Bears. James Pitzer had seven receptions for 175 yards and three touchdowns.

Timberlake 36, Rogers 22: Joey Follini ran for a score and threw a touchdown and the Tigers defeated the visiting Pirates.

West Valley 42, Othello 24: Matthew Allen complied 243 total yards, threw for three scores and added one on the ground and the visiting Eagles downed the Huskies.

Colville 49, Chewelah 14: Grant Michaliszyn scored four times on 75 total yards and the Indians coasted past the visiting Cougars. Jacob Larson added 105 yards and two scores for the Colville.

Liberty 27, Irrigon 0: Justin King caught ten passes for 137 yards with two touchdowns and the Lancers defeated the visiting Knights.

Austen Hubbard added 129 yards on the ground with two touchdowns for Liberty.

St. Maries 25, Priest River 12: Kaden Hammond threw for 121 yards with two touchdowns and the visiting Lumberjacks defeated the Spartans.

Bonners Ferry 33, Thompson Falls 12: Donovan Varelman rushed for 136 yards and scored two touchdowns and the Badgers (1-3) defeated the visiting Blue Hawks (0-4).
