Prep volleyball roundup: Jenna Couch dished out 25 assists and Selkirk beat Odessa

Jenna Couch logged 25 assists with an ace and visiting Selkirk (3-0) swept Odessa (3-2) 25-16, 24-26, 25-10, 25-17 on Saturday in a Northeast 1B league match.

Selkirk 3, Moses Lake Christian (25-2, 25-9, 25-11).

Odessa 3, Moses Lake Christian 0 (25-6, 25-8, 25-3): Brenna Carstensen tallied eight assists and a pair of digs and Odessa (5-3) defeated Moses Lions (0-3) in a nonleague match.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 3, Northport 0 (25-16, 25-9, 25-6): Ashley Mitchell had 10 kills with six blocks and the Warriors (4-0) swept this visiting Mustangs (3-1).

Valley Christian 3, Republic 0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-7): Phoebe Trigsted had 11 assists and five kills and the Panthers defeated the visiting Tigers in a nonleague match.
