Prep girls soccer roundup: Gracie Montoya’s two goals just enough for East Valley to hold off Cheney

Gracie Montoya scored twice and East Valley (5-3-1) held off a late comeback from visiting Cheney (4-4-0) to win 4-3 in a Great Northern League game on Tuesday.

West Valley 4, Pullman 0: Alyssa Amann had a goal and an assist and the visiting Eagles (5-4-0) beat the Greyhounds (2-5-1).

Northeast 1A

Lakeside 8, Newport 0: Emma Spence scored two goals with one assist and the Eagles (6-1-0) defeated the visiting Grizzlies (1-6-0).

Deer Park 5, Medical Lake 0: Hannah Hodgson scored a hat trick and the Stags (6-0-0) blanked the visiting Cardinals (1-5-0).

Freeman 3, Colville 1: Kassidy Reilly scored two goals and the visiting Scotties (5-2-0) defeated the Indians (2-5-0)

Lake City 5, Coeur d’Alene 0: Bridget Rieken scored a hat trick and the Timberwolves (9-2-0) shut out the visiting Vikings (6-5-0).

Coeur d’Alene Charter 4, Lakeland 0: Kiley Cutler scored in the 19th minute and the visiting Panthers (11-0) defeated the Hawks (1-7-1).
