Prep volleyball roundup: Amanda Reed had 13 kills, Lewis and Clark stays undefeated with win over Rogers

Amanda Reed had 13 kills with three blocks and the visiting Tigers (4-0) swept the Pirates (0-4) 25-11, 25-18, 25-15 on Tuesday in a Greater Spokane League match.

Ferris def. Shadle Park 25-17, 25-14, 25-22: Olivia Schwartz had nine kills, two aces and a block and the visiting Saxons (1-3) swept the Highlanders (0-4).

Mt. Spokane def. Gonzaga Prep 25-21, 25-19, 25-20: Molina Ama tallied 13 kills with 12 digs and the Wildcats (4-0) swept the visiting Bullpups (3-1).

Teila Allen notched 12 digs with two blocks and Hoku Vargas dished out 20 assists for Mt. Spokane.

Great Northern League

Pullman def. West Valley 25-12, 25-11, 25-10: Lucy Gao had 35 assists with four aces and three blocks and the Greyhounds (4-1) beat the Eagles (0-5).

Northeast 1A

Deer Park def. Medical Lake 25-18, 28-26, 25-20: Sophia Dixon had four aces and the Stags (2-4) as they swept the visiting Cardinals (1-5).

Lakeside def. Newport 25-2, 25-11, 25-16: Hannah Stires had 22 assists with 16 digs and the Eagles (6-0) beat the visiting Grizzlies (2-4).

Northeast 2B

Davenport def. Wilbur-Creston 25-19, 25-22, 15-25, 25-22: Sydney Zeiler had ten kills with 15 blocks, while Kylene Edwards also had 15 blocks, six aces, and 20 assists and the visiting Gorillas (3-2) defeated the Wildcats (2-2).

Northwest Christian def. St. George’s 25-6, 25-9, 25-14: Madi Zorn had 12 kills and the visiting Crusaders (5-0) defeated the Dragons (0-5).

Asotin def. Colfax 25-23, 26-24, 25-13: Adrienne Washington had seven aces and the Panthers (3-1) swept the visiting Bulldogs (3-1).

Liberty def. Tekoa-Rosalia 25-10, 25-7, 25-23: Maisie Burnham had 18 kills and the Lancers (3-1) swept the visiting Timberwolves (0-3).

Northeast 1B

Republic def. Curlew 18-25, 17-25, 25-19, 25-17, 16-14: Reese Rickabaugh tallied 19 assists with five aces and the visiting Tigers (2-2) roared back from two sets down to edge the Cougars (0-2).

Southeast 1B

Pomeroy def. Colton 25-21, 25-8, 25-23: Sydney Smith had 16 assists with three aces and the Pirates (5-0) swept the visiting Wildcats (2-3).

St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse def. Garfield-Palouse 25-16, 25-13, 25-11: Riley Lamb and Ashlynn Archer had 16 and 12 kills respectively and the the Eagles (2-3) swept the visiting Vikings (1-5).


Chewelah def. Kettle Falls 25-12, 25-13, 25-12: Elle Carpenter notched 24 assists with 10 digs and the Cougars (3-2) downed the visiting Bulldogs (1-3).

Springdale def. Riverside 25-23, 25-11, 25-13: Libby Winkle had 11 kills with three aces, but the Rams lost to the Chargers.


Inland Empire 5A

Lake City def. Lewiston 25-8, 25-21, 25-15: Klaire Mitchell tallied 20 assists with five aces and the Timberwolves (4-0) swept the visiting Bengals (0-4). Ashley Kaufman added 12 kills for the Timberwolves.

Intermountain League

Timberlake def. Bonners Ferry 25-22, 25-18, 25-13: Kenzie Dean notched 16 kills with three aces and the visiting Tigers (4-0) topped the Badgers (1-3).

North Star League

Lakeside def. Wallace 10-25, 25-1, 25-10, 25-20: Glory Olson had eight kills and five assists and the Knights defeated the Miners.


Coeur d’Alene def. Lakeland 25-10, 25-22, 25-20: Lauren Phillips had 16 assists with seven kills and the Vikings defeated the visiting Hawks.

St. Maries def. Kellogg 25-17, 25-17, 25-22: Sami Badgett had 14 assists with four aces and the visiting Lumberjacks (2-1) defeated the Wildcats (1-1).
