The locally produced public TV show “Washington Grown” is looking for entries for a cooking contest featuring family recipes spotlighting Washington-grown ingredients.

Thirteen winners, one for each episode of season six, will be featured during a special new segment filmed in the Second Harvest kitchen in Spokane.

Home cooks can enter recipes in as many categories as they wish. But categories close when enough submissions are received, so don’t dally. Category One is already closed.

Remaining categories are: potatoes, wine, asparagus, cherries, spinach, raspberries, edible flowers, herbs, peaches, beets, frozen potatoes and, lastly, any Washington-grown crop, even one from your own garden.

“Washington Grown” is produced by Dave Tanner, CEO of the Spokane digital studio North by Northwest.
