Class helps fire-hit schools
The third-graders at St. George’s School are donating $646.19 to the Paradise Unified School District in northern California, which faced large amounts of loss and destruction in last year’s wildfires and is still trying to rebuild.
The funds were raised from their class business, the Sunny Snack Shack, and will go toward purchasing science kits and facilitating a field trip for Paradise first- and third-grade students to visit the spring wildflower blooms at Table Mountain.
