Gonzaga’s Josh Perkins selected Senior CLASS Award second-team All-American

Gonzaga’s Josh Perkins has been named to the Senior CLASS Award All-American second team.

North Carolina’s Luke Maye was selected the Senior CLASS Award winner, presented annually to a Division I senior with notable achievements in the classroom, community, character and competition. CLASS is an acronym for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School.

Perkins was one of 10 finalists for the award.

Perkins, a senior point guard, was joined on the second team by Marshall’s Jon Elmore, Northern Kentucky’s Drew McDonald, Belmont’s Dylan Windler and Hofstra’s Justin Wright-Foreman.

First-team selections were Loyola-Chicago’s Clayton Custer, South Dakota State’s Mike Daum, Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ, Kentucky’s Reid Travis and Maye.
