North Idaho’s RayQuan Evans, the reigning player of the year in the Northwest Athletic Conference, announced on Twitter on Sunday that he has signed on to play for the Florida State Seminoles.
“I want to start by thanking my Family, Coaching Staff, Teammates and God for making all of this possible,” Evans tweeted. “Playing Division 1 has been a dream of mine since I was little. After giving some time I have decided to further my academic and athletic career at Florida State University.”
Evans averaged 18.2 points per game, 7.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists in leading the Cardinals to the NWAC championship this season.
