Prep softball: Kylie Pester strikes out 17 in Lewis and Clark win over Ferris

Lewis and Clark 9, Ferris 0: Kylie Pester had 17 strikeouts in a complete game one-hitter, Peyten Johnson had two RBIs and the visiting Tigers (4-4) beat the Saxons (2-6) on Monday.

Central Valley 11, Mead 1: Suheyla Tanak went 3 for 3 with two doubles, Julia Andrews threw a complete game, allowing just one run on two hits, and the Bears (6-2) beat the visiting Panthers (4-4) on Monday.

University 3, Gonzaga Prep 1: Alyssa Benthagen drove in a pair of runs and the Titans (7-1) beat the visiting Bullpups (3-5). G-Prep was held to five hits in a complete game performance from Erin Walls, while opposing starter Bailey Benson struck out 10 for the Bullpups.

Northwest Christian 18, Rogers 2: Alison Shaler’s fourth-inning grand slam and complete game in the circle powered the Crusaders (11-1) over the visiting Pirates (0-8) in a nonleague contest on Monday night.


Deer Park 9, East Valley 6: Jaylee Lane hit three home runs, earning six RBIs, and stuck out eight in a complete game and the Stags (8-7) beat the visiting Knights (3-5).


Lake City 11, Moses Lake 2: Jalyssa Beamer went 2 for 3 with two home runs and five RBIs, Emma Gray went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs and the Timberwolves (10-0) beat the visiting Chiefs (8-1) in the first game of a doubleheader.

Lake City 6, Moses Lake 0: Olivia Zufelt, Jalyssa Beamer and Abby Jankay each hit a home run and the Timberwolves (11-0) swept the Chiefs (8-2).
