Prep boys soccer: Solomon Katumbi scores twice, pacing Ferris over Gonzaga Prep

Ferris 2, Gonzaga Prep 1: Solomon Katumbi scored twice and the Saxons (7-1-0-0) beat the visiting Bullpups (4-4-0-1) on Wednesday.

Central Valley 6, North Central 0: Jensen Shypitka and Hunter Clark scored two goals apiece and the Bears (7-0-1-0) shut out the Indians (3-5-0-0) at Albi Stadium on Wednesday.

Mead 5, Rogers 0: Jake Bennatt scored two goals, Sean Becker and Brandon Shoff each had two assists and the Panthers (4-2-2-0) beat the visiting Pirates (0-8-0-0) on Wednesday. Nick Ridgely led the defense which has helped Mead post shutouts in seven of its last 12 games.

Mt. Spokane 2, University 0: Nolan Siegal made five saves and the Wildcats (3-5-0-0) blanked the Titans (4-3-0-1) on Wednesday. Ethan Davis and Jared Schnug scored for Mt. Spokane.

Lewis and Clark 1, Shadle Park 0: Eli Armstrong scored on a penalty kick in the 70th minute and the Tigers (4-3-0-1) edged the Highlanders (1-7-0-0) at Albi Stadium on Wednesday.
