Prep softball: Tammya Campbell strikes out six, allowing only one run, University holds top spot in GSL

Tammya Campbell struck out six and allowed a single run across eight innings and visiting University (10-1) defeated Gonzaga Prep (3-8) 2-1 on Friday in a Greater Spokane League game.

Jadyn Raley-Jones struck out 10 and allowed a pair of runs for the Bullpups.

Central Valley 2, Shadle Park 0: Jordan Williams went 3 for 3 while Cheyenne Pakrer threw a two hitter with seven strikeouts and the Bears (9-2) defeated the Highlanders (6-3).

Mt. Spokane 7, Mead 2: Morgan Flesland went 2 for 3 with 3 RBI and struck out seven batters and the Wildcats (8-1) defeated the Panthers (5-6).

Lewis and Clark 6, Ferris 1: Kylie Pester had nine strikeouts, went 1 for 3 with three RBIs and the Tigers (6-5) beat the visiting Saxons (3-8) at Hart Field. Catelyn Strauss had 10 strikeouts for Ferris.

Rogers 29, North Central 11: Jaelynn Proctor drove in four runs on a pair of home runs and the visiting Pirates (1-8) defeated the Indians (0-9).

Great Northern League

West Valley 8, East Valley 3: Maddi Thompson collected four hits and drove in three runs and the Eagles (8-0) defeated the visiting Knights (1-3) in the first game of a doubleheader.

West Valley 15, East Valley 9: Jillian Taylor had three hits and three runs scored and the Eagles (9-0) defeated the visiting Knights (1-4) in the second game of a doubleheader.

Nonleague

Okanogan 4, Northwest Christian 0: Vivienne Bauer allowed a single hit and no runs across seven innings and the Bulldogs (12-3) defeated the visiting Crusaders (11-1) in the first game of a doubleheader.

Northwest Christian 14, Okanogan 7: Alison Shaler and Makenzie Nelson each crushed grand slams and the visiting Crusaders (12-1) defeated the Bulldogs (12-4) in the second game of a doubleheader.

Idaho

Lake City 5, Post Falls 0: Jalyssa Beamer went 3 for 3 with two runs and the Timberwolves (9-0) beat the Trojans (2-7) in the first game of a 5A Inland Empire league doubleheader Friday. Lake City won the 5A Inland Empire League.

Post Falls at Lake City: Olivia Zufelt went 3 for 3 with three RBIs and two runs and the Timberwolves (10-0) swept the visiting Trojans (2-8) in the second game of the doubleheader.

Moscow 5, Sandpoint 4: Sidnie Smith hit a walkoff single and the Bears (2-3) beat the visiting Bulldogs (2-5) in the first game of a 4A Inland Empire doubleheader.

Moscow 7, Sandpoint 6: Liza Dreesmann pitched a complete game and the Bears (3-3) defeated the visiting Bulldogs (2-6) in the second game of the doubleheader.

St. Maries 19, Orofino 9: Madison Cordell drove in three runs with a two-out triple in the bottom of the fifth inning and the Lumberjacks (6-2) defeated the visiting Maniacs (2-2) in a Central Idaho League game.
