At the Shoreline Invite at Shoreline Stadium, North Central’s Allie Janke broke the 1600 meter meet record with a time of 4:45.89.
That mark is the third best in the country this season, but just a shade behind the Indians’ school record of 4:45.85 held by Katie Knight, the former University of Washington standout.
Lewis and Clark won the girls team title.
Ethan Oliver won the javelin and Bradley Fillis won shot put and Central Valley boys won the team title.
The Bears girls also won the team title, but their wins came in the track side of the meet. The 100m, 200m and all relay events were wins for CV.
Elisabeth Perry won the 800 meter race and Bree Rawls won the triple jump and the Oakesdale girls took first place. Lakeside boys were second.
