From staff reports

The Lake City Trail Alliance’s annual membership party and sponsorship drive will be hosted at the Ponderosa Springs Golf Course at Capone’s Pub on the Green on Aug. 29 from 6 to 10 p.m.

The annual event raises money for the volunteer trail organization based in Coeur d’Alene.

Entry is $10 for nonmembers and $5 for members. There will be live music by Broken Mantle Band, a taco bar and raffle prizes.

Although the event is not a golf event, the course will be open.
