This crash near Colfax shows the importance of guardrails

A semitruck carrying multiple other vehicles crashed into the guardrail just north of Colfax on U.S. Highway 195 Wednesday morning.
The car hauler went off the road about 6 a.m. near a pullout area at the top of a hill near Colfax, Washington State Patrol Trooper Jeff Sevigney said. The roadway was snowy at the time.
The region received about 2 inches of snow overnight.
No one was injured in the incident and the road was not blocked, Sevigney said.
A tow truck arrived on scene at about 9:30 a.m to move the semi.
