Look directly to federal laws

I am not an attorney, but may I suggest that readers put aside politics and view the impeachment proceedings as whether or not the president broke federal law.

Take a moment to web search and read Title 18 U.S. Code 595 (it is unlawful for any administrative employees of Federal, State, or Territorial Governments to use his official authority for the purpose of interfering with, or affecting, the nomination or the election of any candidate for the office of President), and Title 52 U.S. Code 30121 (it is unlawful for a person to solicit, accept, or receive a contribution or donation of money or any thing of value from a foreign national.)

There are numerous other federal laws that apply to the president’s recent actions; e.g., Title 2 U.S. Code 192, Refusal of witness to testify or produce papers. It is my humble opinion that no U.S. citizen should be above the law.

Please take the time to be informed and not rely on the media or “talking heads.” Please don’t let politics interfere with congress’s constitutional authority to impeach and remove a president, now and in the future.
