Merry Christmas, everyone! It’s a quiet time in the craft beer world, but if you’re already looking ahead to ringing in the New Year, don’t forget to include awesome local beer in your plans.

Tuesday

Bellwether Brewing (2019 N. Monroe St.) will be open from 3 p.m.-midnight and throwing a 1920s-themed party. Anyone who dresses up in Roaring ’20s attire will enjoy Happy Hour pricing all day.

Humble Abode Brewing (1620 E. Houston Ave.) is hosting a five-course beer dinner beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at the brewery. Stick around afterward to enjoy more beer and ring in the New Year. Open until 1 a.m.

The Steel Barrel (154 S. Madison St.) is celebrating from 6 p.m.-1 a.m. with deals on food and beer, including a special Taco Tuesday.

Riverbank Taphouse (100 N. Hayford Road, Airway Heights) at Northern Quest Casino also is throwing a 1920s party to celebrate the turning of the calendar. The event from 8 p.m.-2 a.m. is sponsored by Seattle’s Fremont Brewing and will include beer specials, live music, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. There is a $5 cover, which is waived for anyone who dresses in 1920s attire.

The following places will be celebrating East Coast New Year’s Eve at 9 p.m. for those people who either want to get a jump on the festivities or get to bed at a reasonable hour.

Iron Goat Brewing (1302 W. Second Ave.) is hosting a family-friendly event with board games from 5-10 p.m.
