Maxwell House’s legacy

All things aside we all have our beliefs. Whether we agree or not it is what makes our society what it is. This may not be earth-shattering, trend-setting, or a bridge between our differences, but the legacy within our city has come to an end. That we can all agree about.

The Maxwell House tavern’s owners, Rich and Kay Culnane, are retiring after almost 50 years of service to us all. The mayor has recognized what they have done throughout the years for the West Central community as well as the people of Spokane. If you have never been there you know someone who has.

As you both walk into retirement, thank you for what you have done for the people that needed it as well as the people that you have allowed to be your friends throughout the years. God bless you for everything you have done — whether it was known or not. Enjoy your retirement.
