Gonzaga’s Rui Hachimura collects third WCC player of the week honor

Rui Hachimura was named the WCC player of the week, the third time he’s been honored this season.

Hachimura averaged 26 points and eight rebounds in fourth-ranked Gonzaga’s victories over BYU and San Diego. He made 19 of 28 shots, blocked three shots and had two steals.

Hachimura averages 20.4 points, third in the WCC. He’s sixth in shooting percentage (60.6) and eighth in rebounding (6.3).
