Two injured in Grant County crash involving semi truck and two cars
A Mead woman was injured Monday afternoon in a Grant County crash on Interstate 90.
The collision sent Cynthia A. Logan, 67, of Mead, to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The crash spilled from the westbound lanes into the eastbound lanes near milepost 139 just east of the Columbia River, and involved a semitractor-trailer and two cars.
The semi struck the jersey barrier along the interstate and then crossed into the eastbound lanes where it struck a Subaru Forester driven by a Seattle man.
The Subaru was then hit by a Hyundai driven by Logan, according to the WSP. A passenger in the Subaru also was injured and sent to the hospital.
WSP crash investigators said the truck was traveling too fast and caused the accident.
Everyone was wearing seat belts.
