Woman in her 70s stabbed at north Spokane grocery store
A woman in her 70s was stabbed late Wednesday at a grocery store in north Spokane.
Police were called to the Albertsons, 6520 N. Nevada St., just before 10 p.m. where the woman had been stabbed by a man unknown to her, Spokane police said in a news release. She was transported to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
The culprit was described a white man between 45 and 60 years old, about 5-feet-10 with a thin-to-medium build. He may have driven away in a vehicle resembling a Subaru wagon.
Police say the motive for the attack is unclear.
