Boys basketball: Tru Allen scores 29 points and Clarkston tops Pullman for 2A district title

Tru Allen scored 29 points and No. 10-ranked Clarkston defeated visiting No. 4 Pullman 67-52 in the District 7 2A championship on Tuesday.

Brandton Chatfield added 15 points for the Bantams (14-7) while Jacob Wells paced the Greyhounds (18-5) with 24 points.

Clarkston will host a crossover game against the Central Washington Athletic Conference third seed, while Pullman travels to the second seed, on Saturday.

District 7 2B at West Valley HS

St. George’s 83, Liberty 69: Eric Farias scored 32 points with 11 assists, Ben Adams added 24 points and the No. 2-ranked Dragons (20-2) beat the Lancers (13-9) in a semifinal.

St. George’s faces Asotin in the district championship game on Saturday.

Isaak Ottmar led Liberty with 30 points. The Lancers play in a loser-out on Friday.

Asotin 54, Colfax 51: The Panthers (13-7) knocked off the No. 4-ranked Bulldogs (17-4) in a semifinal. Colfax faces a loser-out on Friday.

Davenport 60, Tekoa-Rosalia 53: A.J. Floyd scored 26 points and the Gorillas (5-17) eliminated the Timberwolves (14-9) in a loser-out.

Davenport faces Chewelah in a loser-out on Thursday.

Garrett Naught scored 14 points and Craig Mueller had 13 for T-R.

District 7 1B at Deer Park HS

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 47, Selkirk 38: Reece Isaak scored 13 points and the No. 5-ranked Warriors (18-3) beat the Rangers (13-9) in a semifinal.

ACH faces Odessa in the district title game on Saturday.

Selkirk falls to a loser-out game against Valley Christian on Wednesday. Ryan Zimmerman led the Rangers with 17 points.
