A brief spurt of heavy snow hit Spokane around noon on Saturday and left about 1/2 inch of snow. More could fall after dark.
Between 10 p.m. Saturday and 4 a.m. Sunday could see another 1/2 inch, according to National Weather Service forecasts.
Fog and snow showers will likely reduce visibility and make roadways dangerous, according to the NWS.
